I gave them permission to search my home, left the door unlocked, and gave them the keys. They were searching for my boyfriend whom they failed to locate so asked for permission to enter with the K9 but I refused due to having two small dogs and a cat inside. They got a warrant to search regardless of my wishes which resulted in the K9 Mako shredding my declawed cat to pieces in my bedroom. The officers then placed her in a garbage bag and threw it on my porch. We had her for many years since we picked her out at the shelter before her eyes were even open. She was a part of our family and we only received a 1/2 hearted apology after my son asked for one. The report was falsified but thats a common occurrence from my experience. They located my boyfriend but only after the K9 Mako sniffed his hand, licked it, then walked away!
