Y'all don't know how to clean up this place. It's pitiful that in the ICU there is syringe caps, alcohol wipes, and a USED glove on the floor. Even the doctor squirted the medicine out of the syringe on the wall to make sure it works. Shouldn't they already know if it works? Did anyone clean it up after? Nope. And it's also a shame that the doctors and nurses clown around when they have many patients that are in need of their help. They do a good job but the janitors and themselves do NOT keep the rooms sanitary. The ER is also a mess. No further explanation cause there's nothing yall can do about it, but it's always full of patients when the doctors are super busy squirting syringe medicine on a wall
This is one of the best hospital ihave ever be in. The doctors that did my surgery on my arm is the best. Oh my, they was as got to get up professional as they could be plus their bedside manner was the best I have ever had all my doctors and involved past the surgery infectious disease doctor everyone that came to see my heart doctors everybody Thibodaux it's just the bomb the nurses we're very very nice and did whatever they could to make you comfortable and they were very very courteous and professional.
I had my baby girl here one year ago and my only complaint is the billing department. My daughter's Nurses were AMAZING, Kristen and Kourtney took the time to sign a card for my baby's first birthday. They were so caring, patient, and you could tell they really enjoy what they do. I can't say enough about them! My nurses were equally as wonderful, one of nurses named Billy was an AMAZING birthing couch. She did everything she could to make my first birthing experience so special. The lactation consultant Donna, Now she goes above and beyond! She was the absolute best. The kitchen staff and everyone else that comes and goes in the room were all great. I can honestly say my experience there was wonderful! With that being said, the billing department needs to get it together. From sending bills that were already paid to not communicating on what needed to be paid. Absolute headache! I am still dealing with problems, thanks to their incompetence my name is now in collections. NO NOTICE that there was a balance, no letter saying they were sending my name. I am completely disgusted by this department. All I can say is, stay on top of them. Yet I did that, and here I am. GOOD LUCK!
I was transported via Acadia Ambulance Service on October 15, 2017. I am a nurse and knew my condition was grave. I had 4 bleeding ulcers and complete blockage of Aorta and femoral arteries. The ER team was excellent. Dr. Lecsky listened to every word I said. I gave him the names of all my doctors and told him to call all of them, lol, and he did. I had the ulcers cauterized and underwent Aorta Bifemoral bypass. I am thankful to be alive and am thrilled to report that the doctor did not pass off my diarrhea as a "Chief Complaint " as a virus and sent me home. The entire staff from ICU to Step down were so caring and my treatment couldn't have been better
Have always been happy with TRMC, but I've been sitting in the E.R. with my son having CHEST PAINS for over an hour now with no medical attention AT ALL. I HAVE NEVER BEEN anywhere that chest pains have not been addressed, even here and the triage nurse is VERY rude!!!!!!
